One moment in time can change the trajectory of your entire life. At the time, it may feel small, but in retrospect it sent you freefalling.

For me it was a kiss. In the middle of the night, I kissed my husband goodbye and never saw him again. Grief wrapped itself around my heart for over a decade.

They say to expect the unexpected. When a silver fox named Bear Johnson walked into my Friday night yoga class, his simple touches awakened butterflies I hadn't felt in years. I was in unexpected territory. Day in and day out, Bear and I trained together. Our friendship blossomed into love and unraveled the pain of my past.

Bear set his deal on the table and I gladly accepted - no kids.

Except fate didn't want to play a part of our deal. My life gets flipped, turned upside down when I watch two pink lines appear on a pregnancy test. The last time a girl showed Bear a pregnancy test was over thirty years ago and I'm not sure Bear is willing to take on diaper duty again.
